Here, at the Cathedral, we take this devotion very seriously. Why? Because Our Lady told us to! There are 5 ways in which people offend and blaspheme the Immaculate Heart of Mary: Blasphemies against her Immaculate Conception, against her virginity, against her Divine Maternity, those who try to publicly implant indifference in the hearts of children along with contempt and even hatred for the Immaculate Mother, and finally, those who insult her directly in her sacred images. It is for these reasons that we make reparation to her. Please join us next month on Saturday, July 6, at the 8:00 a.m. Mass for this purpose!
