St. Eugene’s School
Please come and celebrate Cinco de Mayo with students and faculty on Friday, May 3rd, from 4-8 p.m. at the school. This event was a huge success last year and lots of fun for those in attendance. This is the final, very important fundraising event for the school this year. Support our school while enjoying an evening of great food, music, dance, and choir performances from our St. Eugene’s students!
Tickets can be purchased at the school office, the parish office, as well as at the door on the day of the celebration.
Priestly Ordination
“The priest is not a priest for himself; he does not give himself absolution; he does not administer the Sacraments to himself. He is not for himself, he is for you.” — St. John Vianney, The Curé of Ars
Save the date: On Saturday, June 1, 2024, His Excellency, Bishop Robert Vasa, will ordain Rev. Mr. Mauricio Rodriguez and Rev. Mr. Christopher Girolo to the Holy Priesthood here at the Cathedral of St. Eugene. The ordination will be followed by a reception in the Msgr. Becker Center.
Annual Ministry Appeal
Good News. Thanks to you, we have reached our Annual Ministry Appeal pledge goal for the year. Any funds received now (and after that goal was met) will be refunded directly to St Eugene’s and used to support our parish.
Grow Your Faith with Formed
This is just a reminder that St. Eugene’s has a subscription to a great Catholic Website called “Formed.” This website is loaded with Catholic content and has a huge selection of movies, books and audio programs. Why not take a look and see what it has to offer for your spiritual growth? Simply type into your search engine: “formed.org.” This will take you to a section whereby you will click the link for “Sign up as a Parishioner.” You then will need to write in, “St. Eugene” or the zip code “95405”. Then, all you need to do is write in your name and e-mail address and you will have access to a stunning array of good, solid, Catholic educational content.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
We welcome your inquiry about joining the Catholic Church! The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process through which interested adults are gradually introduced to the Roman Catholic faith and way of life. Parish School of Religion (PSR) is for youth (age 7-17).
Stop by the parish office or visit our website: www.steugenes.com and look under the Faith Formation tab.
Or click here: Faith Formation for Adults or Faith Formation for Youth to get contact information for next year’s programs.
