TOMORROW! The Respect Life group meets the last Monday of every month in the PLC at 3:30 p.m. Please join us on June 24.

The Parish School of Religion partners with Cathedral of St. Eugene families to bring the youth of the parish to Christ through authentic catechesis in the beauty, goodness, and truth of the Catholic Faith. We offer:

• Ongoing Catholic formation for students 1st grade through high school

• Preparation for the Sacraments of Baptism, Confession, 1st Communion & Confirmation

• Dedicated teaching by the Marian Sisters of Santa Rosa & lay catechists.

St Eugene’s altar society is a group of laypersons whose main purpose is to provide for the adornment of the altar, sanctuary, and chapel, and furnish the liturgical necessities for our parish.

St Eugene’s SVDP Food Pantry is in need of volunteers. The food pantry is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. Contact Karalee at 707-758-5735 to find out how you can participate.

The year 2025 will be a special year in the Catholic Church. Every 25 years we have a jubilee year with special indulgences, prayers, and graces. Its roots are ultimately in the Old Testament Torah and it developed as a specifically Catholic practice in the later Middle Ages. Also, it is the 75th anniversary of the founding of our parish. Interestingly enough, the parish was founded on 1 July 1950, but dedicated in November of 1962. We will be celebrating a very special year indeed. To that end, we would like to create a Jubilee Committee to help plan and execute Jubilee events which will be liturgical and social. If you are interested, please email Fr. Opus Dei confessions will not be available in June or July, but will be returning the last Wednesday of August. The time will be announced in a future bulletin, but is expected to be from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. on August 28.
