Our Bookstore/Gift Shop is looking for volunteers with retail experience, who are customer-service oriented, self-starters (but willing to take direction) and able to work a minimum of 4 hours/week. We are a ministry as well as a retail store, so compassion and the ability to listen are highly recommended. Interested? Stop in the bookstore during business hours and an interview will be scheduled.

The store has completed the switch to a new Point of Sale program. We are able to accept all credit cards (including American Express), do lay-away sales, have a customer loyalty program (you will earn points every time you purchase something from our store and you can redeem those points whenever you decide), gift cards, and more!

Catholics believe that the prayers of the saints in heaven are very powerful. We do not pray to the saints, but we ask for their intercession, just as you might ask a family member to pray for you.

The Knights of Columbus is organizing a bus trip to the 2024 “Walk for Life” in San Francisco on Saturday, January 20th. Bus will leave St Eugene parking lot at 8 a.m. Bus tickets can be purchased at the Parish Office. The cost is $30.

Every Tuesday morning at 9:15 a.m. our women’s group, Women of the Word, meets in the Parish Life Center to read and discuss the following Sunday's readings. Occasionally there is a speaker or a short video presentation. Refreshments are served.
We are reaching out to all women of the parish to invite you to join us! New members are always welcome! For those with busy lives, there is no obligation to attend every week. For those of you who are stay-at-home moms, childcare is provided for young children.

Have you lost something while attending church recently? There are several “found” items in the lost & found basket located under a table in the main vestibule of the church. If you have lost something, please check the basket. All unclaimed items will be donated to the Cathedral Thrift Shop by the end of January.

The Italian Catholic Federation is awarding scholarships to the Class of 2024 high school graduates. Applicants must be Catholic and have achieved a total cumulative GPA of at least 3.20. Applications are available online at www.icf.org/scholarships/ or call 888-ICF-1924.

The school enjoyed their Christmas break and are back to work. Remember that St Eugene’s School is a faith based alternative to local public schools. Catholic schools exist to form young persons in Christ and in culture. The formation in culture entails building the intellectual, emotional, and physical capacities of each student for responsible life in society.
