Annual Diocesan Ministry Appeal
As we come to the Spring, we also come to realize that it is AMA season! We have a shared work as Catholics in our parish and in our Diocese. I want to first note that the money raised in the AMA appeal is for the annual ministries alone. In other words, this money is never used for other purposes, such as legal fees or lawsuit settlements. This money is primarily used for diocesan ministry needs that are greater than one parish, such as the schools office, youth ministry, preparation for marriage, and the tribunal. These are needs that we have all together as the Diocese of Santa Rosa.
Over the next couple of weeks, I am asking you to prayerfully consider your gift to the AMA this year. Any money above our goal is going to be refunded to the parish and can be used to make improvements in the space that we all use. I ask you to be generous with the Church while knowing that your generosity springs from hearts on fire with the love of God.
God bless you all,
Fr. Samuel Moses Brown

Cathedral Books & Gifts
“We can do the work of Lent if we recognize it is a work from God. If we allow him to work in us through the healing power of the sacraments, and if we strive, then, to live up to the gift we’ve been given, God is unstinting in the grace he gives. We’re the problem. We’re the ones reluctant to receive what’s good for us.” – Scott Hahn
The store can assist you in fulfilling your Catholic needs: books, medals, rosaries, special gift items for the Sacraments, statues and a myriad of items pertaining to Catholicism. Celebrate the Lenten Season with the many resources we have available to help guide you through the Lenten journey. The store is staffed primarily with volunteers. Consider offering your time and talent as a volunteer, in supporting this worthwhile endeavor. Being a volunteer can be very rewarding—you meet wonderful people who share the same morals and principles, you continue with life-long learning, and have the satisfaction of helping people.
If you would like to join this group please contact Nancy Hoyer at the Book Store or call her at 707-542-0250.

Music Inserts in Pews
The music cards that are inserted into the pew missals are for new Mass parts we are learning that are not printed in the current issue. After using the cards during Mass, please slip them back into the Pew Missal. This will save us time and money in printing costs.
Thank You for your help!
