Help St. Eugene Students this summer!
Volunteer teacher aides needed. St Eugene’s summer school is looking for volunteers to help children practice reading. No teaching experience needed, just a love for children. Summer school will run from June 11 to August 8, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. For more information, call or text Christina at 707-230-3873.

Marian Sisters of Santa Rosa
The Marian Sisters of Santa Rosa are pleased to announce the nomination and appointment of their new Superior, Mother Caritas Marie and Vicaress, Sr. Mary Victoria. Up to this point, the burden of governance has rested solely in the hands of the foundresses, Mother Teresa Christe and Mother Marie de Lourdes.
Bishop Vasa offered a Votive Mass and presided over the installation of Mother Caritas Marie and Sr. Mary Victoria on May 9th. Please pray for our new Superiors as they strive to communicate the Beauty, Goodness, and Truth of Jesus Christ with Our Lady’s spirit.
Eucharistic Prayer Lecture Series
Announcing a four-part lecture series on the Eucharistic Prayers. This series will focus on the four primary Eucharistic Prayers used at Mass. The talks will be fairly reflective and lead the audience into some reflection on the meaning of various parts of the prayers. We will also discuss their history, translation, and Scripture passages relevant to the content of the prayers. Please bring your Bible, something with which to take notes, and a snack to share. The series will meet at the PLC downstairs at 6 p.m. on June 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th.

As we have done in years past, we are hoping to once again have a Vacation Bible School (VBS) for the Parish children which would be held July 8-12 from 9 a.m. - 12 noon at the Becker Center. THEME: "Leading Out Loud - Leading others through biblical examples."To accomplish this, we will need volunteers to help us with Bible Classes & various Bible centered games and crafts. Adults and teens welcome to help! Call Anna for more info at: (707) 539-5185 or visit the Parish Office. Watch for more information in up & coming bulletins.

Mother’s Day Remembrance
Mother’s Day Remembrance envelopes are available in both vestibules and will be due in the collection basket this weekend, May 4/5, or to the Parish Office by 12:00 noon, Monday, May 6, for publishing in the May 12th Mother’s Day Sunday bulletin. Names submitted after that date will be published in future bulletins.
Knights of Columbus news
The Knights of Columbus would like to extend their congratulations to Fr. Samuel Moses Brown. On April 20th, Father received his Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus and now holds the title, Sir Knight.

Golden Opportunities
There will be a Golden Opportunities luncheon on Thursday May 9 at 11:30 a.m. at the Parish Life Center. The members will provide food and beverages. A suggested $3 donation is requested. We will be playing bingo with Bob Acquistapace as our caller.

Second Collection
This weekend, April 27 & 28, our second collection is for Catholic Home Missions. Catholic Home Missions is a grant-making agency. It offers financial support to missionary activities that strengthen the Catholic Church in the United States, and in its territories.
Hour of Reparation
Just a reminder to join us on the First Saturday of each month at the Fatima Grotto at 1:00 p.m. on the east lawn for an hour of prayers said in reparation for the many grave offenses committed against the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Pray a Rosary and several other prayers as a group. Join us!
